INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON URBAN MEDIA
What type of environment is constituted by urban media, what stories are told on the screens and billboards and by whom? How do physical and online spaces intersect and enable the participation of citizens? And how should we design and produce for the urban media? These are some of the questions that were addressed in the seminar which was targeted to artists, designers, architects, researchers and others working within the urban and media spaces.
Altogether 20 artists and experts presented talks in the 3 sessions entitled Online and on the streets, Media architecture – urban media as cultural context and Screens and Beyond – emerging technologies for urban screens.
